Draw in as much air as you can and then slowly exhale. As you exhale, feel your stomach rise and contract. You can also do this exercise while standing up. To do this, stand tall, place your hands on your waist and then inhale deeply while you rise on tiptoes until your heels are almost parallel with your toes. Suck in as much air as you can then slowly release it. As you exhale, lower your heels back on the floor. Repeat this exercise at least 20 times a day.
- When doing exercises to flatten stomach, make use of familiar objects in the house such as your towel. After taking a bath or a shower, do the standing towel circle exercise. To do this exercise, stand tall and hold a small towel tautly overhead. Rotate your upper body clockwise as you exhale and then rotate your body counterclockwise as your exhale. When doing this exercise, make sure that you rotate your torso careful to avoid pulling the wrong muscles on your sides and back. Repeat this exercise at least 8 times.

As you walk your feet forward, let your body slide down the ball until the ball rest on your back and your lower body slightly touching the floor in a tilt back position. With your legs stretched straight in front of you, place your hands behind your head for support. Using your abdominal muscle, lift your lower body off the floor. Make sure that your spine is properly aligned when doing this exercise to avoid injuries. Repeat this exercise at around 10 times.
